Minnie Driver’s Super-Rare Post Shows How Her Teen Son Henry Has a Feature That’s Exactly Like Hers

Minnie Driver’s son Henry is already so alike to her, including with his curly hair!

On March 30, the Good Will Hunting star shared a series of sweet photos of her and her son to her Instagram for UK Mother’s Day. (While Mother’s Day in the US falls on the second Sunday in May, Mother’s Day is on the fourth Sunday of Lent and changes dates annually, per BBC.)

She shared the photos to her Instagram with the caption reading, “To those that made me a mother ( Henry) and those that celebrate the fact that I am one ( Henry+ Addison) I salute you with all the L♥️O♥️V♥️E and even though I’m working today, Sunday ( 😱) you made yesterday the greatest day with cakes and flowers and cards and best of all : laying around with the dog, chatting. #mothersday #mother #love”

We start with a bunch of photos of the mother-son duo today, followed by throwback pics of them when he was a baby! Along with the serious cuteness overload, we noticed how alike they look!

No, seriously, Henry definitely got his mom’s iconic brunette curls! How precious!

Fun fact: curly hair is a dominant gene, per Healthline, so Henry was destined to get his mother’s mane; and this isn’t the first time Henry’s hair has been mentioned. Back in Oct 2021, Driver shared a photo of herself and her son with the caption reading, “Mostly, I used to see my hair as a hat, then I saw it on my son and it became a crown. I am grateful for the evolution of a difficult idea. #sunday in the park with Henry.”

Now, for those who don’t know, she and her ex, television writer and producer Timothy J. Lea, welcomed a son named Henry in 2008.

They kept their relationship quite private, she did talk about it to The Guardian in 2012.

“We weren’t together and he wasn’t directly in the business, so I chose to protect him and not have a rain of publicity,” she said. “He’s figuring it out,” she said at the time. “I mean, he hasn’t been that involved — his choice. But he is now.”

These celebrity parents are sharing the struggle — and sweetness — of raising teenagers.
