Chiaki Kobayashi voices the protagonist, Jacob “Jack” Shadow. The main character is a young soldier who gets caught up in a conflict that eventually forces him to explore and tackle his own dark past.
Kobayashi is an experienced voice actor and has steadily risen to fame, delivering standout performances in roles like Gabimaru in Hell’s Paradise, Langa Hasegawa in SK8 the Infinity, and Mash Burnedead in Mashle.
He has immaculate control of his emotions and the uncanny ability to balance youthful determination with raw emotional depth. This is what will help him be the perfect choice to bring Jack to life.
On the other hand, Yūto Uemura takes on the role of Phil Ash, Jack’s former best friend turned enemy. It might seem like a classic plot element or a cliche, but Uemura could make a lot of difference to it.

Veteran voice actor Kosuke Takaguchi is going to contribute by portraying Osma, a key figure in the unfolding war. Takaguchi is known for his roles as Muscular in My Hero Academia, Ralph in Attack on Titan, and Kobanza in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Takaguchi specializes in playing characters with commanding presences, like leaders or mentors. His deep, authoritative voice will likely make Osma a charismatic figure.
Satoshi Yamaguchi, recognized for his work in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End (Castellan), My Hero Academia (Timothy Agpar and BROWN Vice Commander), lends his voice to Duan. Yamaguchi is an all-rounder who excels at both comedic and intense roles.
Kori Arisa plays Inanna Zinger, a character who could be a vital player in Moonrise.
