“I would break my neck”: After Making Millions from Fighting Old Men, Jake Paul Eyes WWE but Not the Way You Expected

Jake Paul is looking to move on to WWE after defeating several retired boxing stars. But he is not coming to the promoton to display his strength as a wrestler, but as a manager to his brother.

Jake Paul has defeated some of the biggest names in combat sports, like Mike Tyson and Nate Diaz, but not in their prime, and years after their retirement. He was showered with hatred instead of appreciation for those victories by the fans. This may have forced Paul into the next chapter of his life, and according to reports, that will be to become his brother’s manager in WWE.

Jake Paul opens up on joining his brother at WWE

In an interview with Newsweek, the younger Paul opened up on his future endeavors, debunking myths of joining WWE as a wrestler. Paul asserted that he will be taking up a Paul Heyman-style role in the promotion.

“I would be down to be Logan’s manager, Paul Heyman-style in WWE, but I don’t think my body is cut out for the athleticism and madness that the WWE takes.I feel like I wold break my back.”

Jake Paul might claim that he would not wrestle in the WWE, but he could easily make a guest appearance in a fight. Previously, we have seen many instances of celebrities getting involved in WWE matches they were not a part of.

These kinds of stunts are brilliant for business, and if WWE can manage to convince Jake Paul to throw his fist inside the squared circle, fans will be ready to pay top dollar to catch just a glimpse of that.

Logan Paul reveals how boxing saved his brother’s life

Logan Paul and Jake Paul have a bond like no other, they started their journey by making vines on YouTube and went on to rule over the platform.

The duo got into boxing after KSI’s callout in 2018 and found a real knack for it. Though they are both currently trying to make their name in combat sports, their paths are different.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Logan Paul revealed how his younger brother was pretty much a failure at everything he did since high school but found his peace in boxing.

He claimed that boxing saved his brother’s life as he could have lost his way in life if he hadn’t got into boxing.

“Growing up, on paper, Jake was a failure. There’s no other way to put it. Jake was an on-paper failure. High school dropout. To go to L.A. to do different media, 1.7 GPA, in the wrong crew in high school, breaking the law, stealing iPhones, committing petty crimes.”

“An on-paper failure. But he found boxing and was able to channel his problematic, fired-up teenage and youthful angst into something with a really great payoff that entertains millions of people, which is something I know he loves to do.”

Jake Paul is often criticized for defeating old boxers, but his match against Tommy Fury gave us an idea of his actual boxing level. Paul gave a tough competition to one of the most talented boxers of the younger generation but he still has a lot to prove before boxing fans start taking him seriously.
