A source close to the studio claims that Walt Disney Studios is getting ready to start production at a Hollywood sound stage. But despite all of this information, there isn’t any official announcement on the matter. The actor is quite important for the franchise since he’s been a part of all the movies, starting with The Curse of the Black Pearl in 2003.
Every movie in the series has made over $650 million worldwide. Adding more to this was producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who himself confirmed that two scripts of the movie have been prepared via CBR. One of them includes Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow—Disney is yet to decide which script to use.
