There’s a major downside to the coat[/caption]

And the cream coat that happy shopper Michelle found is no exception.

She took to social media to show off the jacket by sharing a try-on video on TikTok.

Michelle, who goes by @michelles.mirror, said: “It’s giving Yellowstone in Dunnes Stores.”

She added: “I’d fit right in.”

The TV series Yellowstone has been a huge hit with viewers since it aired in 2022.

Starring Kevin Costner, it’s set on a North American ranch complete with all the trappings of cowboy culture.

Michelle’s find is perfect for the theme, featuring a tan color with a brown collar.

It’s ideal for walking in the spring and can be worn with jeans for a put together outdoor look.

However, there is one major drawback for fans of the coat; it cannot be found online on the Dunnes Stores website.

However, hopeful shoppers shouldn’t lose hope yet—a few lucky shoppers might find the item hidden on the racks in store.

It’s not the only jacket from Dunnes Stores that fans are sure to love.

The bargain shop has had shoppers in a frenzy over whole new collections.

One particularly popular item is the hooded quilted coat, which recently launched in stores across Ireland.

The coat is perfect for spring as it is rain resistant but also lightweight.

It features a diamond pattern design as well as a high collar for added warmth.

To make it even more ideal for walking, the coat has two handy front pockets.

Plus, it is priced at just €35, making it a cut above some raincoats which sell for over €50.

It’s available in sizes XS up to XXL.

An official description of the item reads: “Designed for comfort and functionality, this coat boasts a sonic quilted design that adds a contemporary touch to your winter wardrobe.

“The funnel neck, attached fleece-lined hood, and fleece-lined pockets provide extra warmth and protection against chilly winds.”

THE HISTORY OF DUNNES STORES

DUNNES Stores opened its first store on Patrick Street in Cork in 1944 – and it was an instant hit.

Shoppers from all over the city rushed to the store to snap up quality clothing at pre-war prices in Ireland’s first ‘shopping frenzy’.

During the excitement, a window was forced in and the police had to be called to help control the crowds hoping to bag founder Ben Dunne’s ‘Better Value’ bargains.

Dunnes later opened more stores in the 1950s and began to sell groceries in 1960 – starting with apples and oranges.

The retailer said: “Fruit was expensive at the time and Ben Dunne yet again offered Better Value than anyone else in town.

“Over time, our food selection has grown and that spirit of good value has remained strong.

“Now we offer a wide range of carefully-sourced foods from both local Irish suppliers and overseas.”

The retailer’s first Dublin store opened its doors in 1957 on Henry Street and a super store on South Great Georges Street was unveiled in 1960.

They added: “In 1971, our first Northern Irish store opened, and many others soon followed.

“Expansion continued in the 1980s in Spain, and later into Scotland and England.”

Dunnes now has 142 stores and employs 15,000 people.
