Katja said she ‘couldn’t get out of the gym faster’[/caption]
Katja was working out in the gym, which is located in her apartment building, when a man suddenly appeared and tried to get in without a key.
The 28-year-old recorded herself recalling the moment after fleeing the facility as quick as she could and said: “I’m literally shaking.
“It’s not even 9pm and I was alone in the gym. My gym is in my apartment… it’s all pretty well locked.”
Katja explained how only members can get into the gym with an electric fob, which the “man in a tracksuit by himself” did not have.
The Six O’Clock Show host told fans: “He hops over the fence that’s like a barrier between the gym, the apartment block and the outside.
“There’s a fire escape door that is always locked and it’s never open, only for emergencies and you can only open it from the inside.
“I literally see him leap over the fence, and then he doesn’t even try to knock on the door to get in – that’s how I know he does not live in this apartment complex.
“He’s pulling down the handle of the fire door trying to get in. I pulled out my headphones and my heart was literally pounding.”
Katja attempted to “act cool” and told him that the door is locked and he “can’t get in”.
She added: “I don’t know why I did this, probably just to seem chill about it and normal, but I told him you have to go all the way around for the entrance.
“I was alone in the gym so I could only assume the worst thing.”
The popular presenter recalled how frightened she was saying: “My body, the response – my heart was beating, my hands were shaking – my body was telling me to get the f*** out of there.
“I’ve never left the gym so fast. I ran so fast to get back into my apartment.
“For all I know, maybe he had a friend living in the apartment and he couldn’t find the entrance, maybe he hasn’t been here before.

“But you think he’d use a regular entrance instead of hopping over a fence and trying to open the fire escape door without even asking someone to let him in first.
“Maybe I overreacted, but it was just pretty f***ing creepy, I couldn’t get out of there faster.”
Katja’s friends and fans flooded the comment section with support for the star.
Maria wrote: “No, we never over react, trust your instincts, if you feel unsafe then you are unsafe.”
Another fan commented: “So sorry this happened to you girl, so scary.”
Sue added: “You were right to go with your gut. I hope you’re ok.”
