Following this success, MAPPA announced that the following arc, known as the Bomb Girl arc would be adapted in the form of a movie titled Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc.

The film is currently scheduled to premiere in Japan on 19 September 2025 and will be available in theatres worldwide from 29 October 2025.
As mentioned above, they will adapt the events of the Bomb Girl arc of the Chainsaw Man manga from Chapter 39 titled Tearjerker to Chapter 52 titled Lost Love, Flower, Chainsaw.
The movie will focus on Denji’s relationship with Reze, the Bomb Devil. The arc is a turning point for Denji’s character and the makers have indicated that they will make sure that the emotional complexity of their relationship that is present in the manga will make it to the big screen.

While there still is a delay of a month, it is better than having to wait for longer periods of time.
