WITH soaring temperatures and summer not too far away, home cooks may want to take advantage of the latest BBQ hack.
An expert has promised the little-known cleaning method could speed up removing debris from your grill.

Those getting ahead of the warmer months may be prepping their gardens and polishing their BBQ.
Often this takes the form of opting for soapy warm water and a brush.
Whilst this can be effective at sprucing up a BBQ, one home and garden buyer has recommended an unusual way to ease the process.
Rebecca Smith from Vonhaus, has suggested taking a ball of aluminium foil and using it to clean the grill.
She told the Express: “Here’s a hack that might sound odd but works like a charm.
“Crumple a piece of aluminium foil (roughly 10p worth if you break down the cost) into a loose ball, and use it to scrub off burnt-on residue.
“The foil is cheap, effective, and great for getting into those tricky corners of your grill grates.”
She also recommended using a steamer to soften up the grime before attempting to scrape it away.
With rolls of foil available for a couple of quid, foodies have the chance to make use of the hack without spending their hard-earned cash.
Of course, it might be best to use tongs when scraping the grill grates if you’ve just cooked as the BBQ could still be warm.
Some have taken to social media to share their attempts of trying the advice.
One person wrote: “Yep – I use foil too. Get the grill hot, then clean it up before adding the meat.”
Another put: “My dad taught this to me growing up. A ball of foil and a pair of tongs.
“Get the grates hot and start cleaning!”
Someone else said: “Foil every time.”
A fourth put: “Foil.. with a bit of oil job done. Maybe an old glass scraper if it’s a bit too gunky.”
Rebecca also advised using a pressure washed on stubborn areas.
She suggested that the machine be put on a low setting to prevent damage to the outdoor kitchen.
