A WILDFIRE has broken out near a sports centre in Edinburgh.
The blaze was spotted on the hill near Midlothian Snowsports Centre Hillend on Biggar Road in the Capital.
The gorse fire has forced bosses at the site to delay their opening.
A spokesperson for the centre said: “Due to our Fire Service colleagues tackling a gorse fire very close to the Coaster, there will be a delay in opening today.
“We will keep you updated as we aim to try and open later today.
“Apologies for any inconvenience.”
