However, this report also came after Marvel Studios announced the official lineup for Avengers: Doomsday, although several actors who are expected to appear in the movie are yet to sign on.

The upcoming film already has a couple of mutant characters confirmed to join in, such as Charles Xavier, Magneto, Nightcrawler, Mystique, and Cyclops—all from 20th Century Fox’s X-Men film series. Indeed, it would be nice to see Halle Berry reprise her role as Storm as she played an important part in teaching mutants how to harness their powers.
It was previously rumored that Storm would make a cameo appearance in Shawn Levy’s Deadpool & Wolverine, though not only was she absent in the film, but the actress confirmed she never got a call from the director or Ryan Reynolds.
