The Undertaker is one of the GOAT’s of WWE. There is no question that he is a legend. Hence, Taker thought he would be able to break the rules for a huge WWE match, but when his paycheque arrived, he discovered that was not the case. In the present WWE era, numerous old match staples have been banned, including deliberate bleeding, choking, and extremely brutal weapons such as barbed wire and thumbtacks. Taker found out the hard way that it was not tolerated here anymore.
Undertaker was fined for taking a chair shot to the head
The event was Wrestlemania 27. Triple H attempted to end Undertaker’s legendary undefeated streak in a No Holds Barred match. During the match, The Game hits The Deadman in the head with a steel chair after a torrent of strikes to the Undertaker’s back.

While both men felt that their positions in the industry and the fact that it was a WrestleMania match would allow them to get away with it, they discovered that they were not an exception to the rule.
One of the more significant changes to improve safety is the complete prohibition of chair shots to the head. It has been unanimously praised by fans. It increases awareness about concussions and other head injuries. This also leads to a reduction in the danger of catastrophic injury.
The Undertaker doing that was a big no-no during that period.
On his Six Feet Under podcast, The Phenom recalled his experiences with the bout and the aftermath, stating that he felt it would be approved because he was the company’s oldest tenured wrestler and Triple H was married to Stephanie McMahon.
Even after they banned the chair shots. I’m wrestling Triple H and we’re [thinking] I’m the most tenured guy here, you’re his son-in-law, surely we can get away with it. He [Vince McMahon] fined our ass! I remember getting my check for WrestleMania and there was that big minus on there and I was like son of a bitch!
Undertaker continued,
I called him [Triple H] up right away. I said ‘Did you get fined?’ He was like ‘Yeah, I got fined too.’ I was like ‘What the hell good is it to be his son-in-law or his most tenured guy and you still get [fined]? But he [McMahon] had to set an example. That’s what he did.
This showed Undertaker and Triple H that nobody was spared under Vince McMahon. Not even Vince’s son-in-law can escape his wrath.
Undertaker and Triple H had a series of bangers at Wrestlemania
Undertaker and Triple H had two back-to-back Wrestlemania matches in 27 and 28. Before that, Taker defeated HHH in a singles match in Wrestlemania X-7. In a No Holds Barred match, Taker barely defeated HHH. This was not the end of the story though.

Undertaker began jockeying for another Mania rematch in 2012. HHH accepted it, and it became a Hell in a Cell Match. Taker beat HHH clean again to make the stream 20-0
About the rivalry, Taker said (via. his A&E biography):
To tie everything together, the four matches that I had with Shawn – the two with Shawn and then the two with Triple H – I think are probably some of the best work that I did in my career. And to be able to tell a story for over four years, four WrestleManias in a row – because if you watch it, you know one leads into [another].
Undertaker was at the peak of his powers and every Wrestlemania match of his was a banger. HHH, too, proved to be an able partner. In these stipulations, Triple H shines the best.
Hence, taking a fine for that match was nothing bad, in comparison, to how good it ended up being.
