WWE has been in the process of finding and building the next generation of in-ring athletes in the business. For the same, they have launched a new series, WWE LFG i.e. Legends and Future Greats. The show is slowly picking up pace and seeing a lot of excitement build around it.
The show format sees top WWE legends, The Undertaker, Mickie James, Booker T, and Bubba Ray Dudley mentor their respective rookies who compete in challenges and matches to gain more experience. Moreover, the show has seen some top-tier WWE superstars make special appearances for episodes to give their insight on the rookies and the business overall.

On the latest edition of WWE LFG, Gunther, the current World Heavyweight Champion, was the special guest. He had some strong words for all rookies. However, there was one particular instance that triggered a heated altercation between him and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T.
Gunther’s remarks against a WWE rookie triggered a heated exchange with Booker T

Gunther made a special appearance on this week’s WWE LFG episode. He did not mince his words and laid down a verbal rant on all rookies upon seeing and hearing their aspirations to join the business. This was an display of his onscreen WWE character that fans see on Monday Night RAW.
Furthermore, Gunther witnessed the in-ring performance of Booker T‘s rookie, Jasper Troy which was well appreciated by his mentor. However, Gunther had a completely different opinion and chose not to award Jasper with the points. This led to a heated back-and-forth between The Ring General and Booker T.
Booker T: “That’s some bullshit.”
Gunther: “It might be bullshit, but it’s objective.”

The World Heavyweight Champion made it clear to him that his emotional nature, which was surprising compared to his stature, would not do him any favors in the hardcore business of professional wrestling. Moreover, Gunther also advised him to be objective in others’ views about him so as to realise his identity inside the squared circle truly.
Get rid of that f**king top altogether. I can see it on your face. You’re a very emotional guy. Cut it out. This is business.

Gunther proved to be a tough force to deal with during his appearance on WWE LFG. However, his harsh insights might just work in favor of the WWE aspirants who are looking to make it big in the business.
Gunther has a huge WrestleMania showdown coming up

Apart from his WWE LFG appearance, Gunther has a huge showdown ahead of him on The Grandest Stage of Them All, WrestleMania 41. He will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against the winner of the 2025 Royal Rumble match, Main Event Jey Uso, at the show.
The YEET man has been unable to defeat The Ring General in singles matches. In fact, Jey came up short against Gunther a week before he won the Royal Rumble match in a World title match. Moreover, Jey has been overpowered by Gunther for the last few weeks on Monday Night RAW, which debuted on Netflix in January and featured a lot of stars and celebrities.
With WrestleMania 41 on the horizon, Gunther is heading into the match with a lot of momentum on his side. So it remains to be seen if Jey Uso would be able to dethrone him and walk out of WrestleMania as the new World Heavyweight Champion.
