One of the biggest and most influential names in the world of professional wrestling is Paul “Triple H” Levesque. He is known to be a highly accomplished and tenured in-ring performers in WWE and is currently shaping the landscape of the company as a top executive.
Triple H began his wrestling career in WWE as the Blueblood Hunter Hearst Hemsley in the mid-1990s. He then aligned himself with Shawn Michaels as part of D-Generation X, which made them a popular faction. Following Michaels’s retirement in 1998, Triple H took over the stable and, in the process, carved out his own legacy as a top singles WWE superstar.

The Cerebral Assassin became one of the biggest WWE superstars of all time. However, during the prime of his in-ring career, there were a handful of superstars that he did not like personally. Here are the three WWE legends that Triple H hated during his days as a top performer:
3. Rob Van Dam

Rob Van Dam became one of the most popular superstars in WWE. However, his fame came at the time Triple H was reigning as one of the top guys on the WWE roster. While many people appreciated RVD for his work ethic and nature, Triple H was reportedly not one of them.
The two WWE Hall of Famers did not get along well and weren’t close with each other. Moreover, tensions were also reported between them. While they managed to work out their issues inside the ring on numerous occasions, Triple H did not like Rob Van Dam much.
2. Bret Hart

Bret Hart was one of the most respected and gifted in-ring competitors of all time. He was positioned as the flagship star of WWE following the departure of Hulk Hogan, who is disliked by many individuals in the business. However, in the case of Hart, Triple H and he never got along well.
This was possibly due to The Game’s close bond and friendship with Shawn Michaels, who was a real-life rival of Bret Hart at that time. Moreover, Triple H also played a part in screwing Bret at the 1997 WWE Survivor Series event, which infamously came to know as the ‘Montreal Screwjob.’

Despite his reported tensions with The Hitman, Triple H, now WWE CCO, brought back Bret Hart for an episode of RAW that took place in Canada a few months ago. This meant that Triple H was a true professional despite his personal feelings for Bret Hart.
3. Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho experienced major success after arriving in WWE in 2000. At the time, there were many top names who were all competing for major spots in the company, including Jericho, who quickly became a captivating WWE superstar on the roster at the time.
The drive for professional success and their competitive natures were prime reasons that Triple H and Chris Jericho had tensions between them. The duo had major issues with each other backstage, but eventually worked out their differences and became friends in real-life.
