3 Embarassing Botches at WWE SmackDown Spain: Tiffany Stratton Hurt Everyone But Charlotte Flair With Her Botched Move

WWE SmackDown is different this time! And it’s not off to a great start. The March 14 episode of Smackdown kicks off WWE’s pre-WrestleMania 41 tour of Europe and the United Kingdom. The episode saw matches held at the Olimpic Arena in Barcelona, Spain. Among the events promoted for the episode were United States champion LA Knight opening the show and the singles match between Charlotte Flair and B-Fab.

LA Knight started the episode with a promo but was cut off by Jimmy Uso, who wanted a spot in the WrestleMania card. Later, Bloodline entered the ring, and Flair defeated B-Fab in her first singles match in fifteen months. However, Tiffany Stratton entered the ring and got into a brawl with Flair. Both events saw some major botches from the wrestlers.

1. Tiffany Stratton twice failed to hurt Charlotte Flair

On the SmackDown episode on Friday, Charlotte Flair went against B-Fab in a singles match and defeated her. However, she continued to hold B-Fab in her submission, when Tiffany Stratton came out and started a brawl with Flair. It was a wild match that saw Stratton stand tall over Flair.

There were two horrible botches during the match when Stratton tried to attempt the Swanton Bomb on Flair. Flair was surrounded by security personnel when Stratton first jumped off the ring rope on her. However, she botched her landing and fell on top of the security guard. She failed to even touch Flair during the Swanton Bomb.

Flair, in her effort to keep appearances, fell along with the security personnel. It was even more embarrassing when she did it a second time and failed to land again. Flair had to pretend to fall again and the viewers didn’t appreciate the two-time botch at all.

2. Jimmy Uso got nervous for a moment

Jimmy Uso came into the ring when LA Knight opened the episode on Friday night. His arrival wasn’t to congratulate the United States Championship title-holder but to challenge for a WrestleMania match. However, Uso’s heel turn didn’t turn out exactly as he expected.

While delivering his fierce speech, Uso appeared to lose his grip for a moment and made a mistake. Knight reclaimed the US Championship title from Shinsuke Nakamura a week ago. Knight is all set to enter WrestleMania 41 as the defending champion. Uso made it clear that he was going to come after Knight for the US Championship title.

But he fumbled a bit, and instead of mentioning the United States Championship, he botched it by calling it the “United States Tag Titles”. Not a great start to his WrestleMania campaign at all.

3. Solo Sikoa stuttered during his promo

It wasn’t a great day for the Anoa’i family at all. Jimmy Uso wasn’t the only one after the US Championship, as Solo Sikoa came out and demanded the spot for Jacob Fatu. However, Sikoa wasn’t the most confident when he delivered his promo against Knight and Uso.

He stuttered multiple times during his delivery and even at one point seemed to look at his hands. While we’re not sure whether Sikoa followed The Rock’s suit and wrote the promo on his hands. Even Jimmy Uso’s facial expression clearly stated that Sikoa wasn’t doing a great job at the promo.
