We cannot blame Mark Calaway, aka The Undertaker, if he became a little bit obsessed with fellow wrestler Michelle McCool at the start of their dating period. The couple, now happily married for fifteen years, did not start by mutually liking each other. In fact, McCool wanted him to leave her alone.
Both retired from the wrestling industry, the famed couple looked back on their early relationship and how it blossomed into a life-long romance. They have proven that acceptance and understanding go a long way, especially since they weren’t on the same page in the beginning.

Fans have witnessed a side of The Undertaker that they have never seen before when he spoke about his relationship with Michelle McCool in the Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway podcast. It was a delight to see the fearsome former wrestler get shy as his wife revealed how they started dating.
Even his co-host Matthew Lyda called their romance a “miracle,” which was exactly how anyone would describe it after hearing how The Undertaker managed to get McCool to soften up to him. “For you to wind up with her? Yeah, it’s a miracle. This is divine intervention,” he said.
McCool then started sharing how her now-husband would always walk up to her in an attempt to strike up a conversation. It came to a point that people had started noticing it, telling her he’s got a little crush on her. The only problem was that she was not into men with long hair and tattooed bodies, but The Undertaker was not deterred by this. At last, McCool said:
It got to the point where he just kept asking, ‘Let’s go get some dinner, or let’s do this,’ I was like, ‘Look, if you’ll leave me alone, I’ll go have dinner with you.
The couple first met around 2007, but as mentioned, they didn’t hit it off immediately. After two years of courtship, they tied the knot on June 26, 2010, in Houston, Texas. On August 29, 2012, they welcomed their daughter Kaia Faith Calaway, and they also adopted a son named Kolt.
They have a blended family since The Undertaker has three kids from his previous marriages with Jodi Lynn and Sara Frank.

The Undertaker has been so private with his personal life that he rarely talks about it, but when he does, it’s very passionate to the point that it would bring him to tears. While speaking with Ed Young, Calaway talked about his wife on a very emotional note. “Somehow or another, I met… I’m getting a little choked up, she’s awesome,” he confessed.
He was aware that he had broken his own rule about dating fellow wrestlers, but his love for McCool triumphed over everything, and it proved to be the best decision he ever made.
