A MAJOR A road has been shut down after a crash sparking travel chaos near a busy airport.
Drivers and flyers have been warned the A38, in North Somerset, was closed off in both directions at around 4.30pm.

Access has been blocked between Colliters Way and Bristol Airport roundabouts.
Police have urged motorists to avoid the area and find an alternative route.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “The A38 is shut in both directions in North Somerset between Colliters Way and @BristolAirport roundabouts after a collision at about 4.30pm this afternoon.
“Emergency services are at the scene. We’d advise road users seek an alternative route at this time.”
