IRELAND AM star Muireann O’Connell has shared the fashion struggles she suffered before going on air this morning.
The popular presenter returned to screens alongside her co-star Tommy Bowe, after the pair hosted the Royal Television Society awards.

Muireann always puts her best foot forward when it comes to styling her TV looks – and today she knocked it out of the park.
The TV star took to Instagram before the show to share some snippets of herself getting ready backstage.
The popular presenter looked puzzled as she tried her best to make her jeans from Macabees “work” with her khaki blouse.
Muireann told fans she “loves the jeans,” but struggles to make them look just right on her.
Dissatisfied with that option, Muireann quickly changed into her next option.
She donned a stunning jumper and maxi skirt combo; her lightweight green top was from Marks and Spencer’s.
She paired the top with a fabulous pink printed skirt from popular designer Fee G.
The Luna skirt currently retails on their site for €149.
Despite looking flawless in this option, Muireann felt she could still change her on-air look and opted to go back to the drawing board.
For her final look, Muireann wore a pair of metallic-styled pants and a light blue top.
Her silver metallic trousers were from Mango and retail on their website for €22.
Next, Muireann paired the pants with a short-sleeved blue cardigan from Styled by Sarah Rickard.
The piece was available on her website, but unsurprisingly, it is now sold out; it was listed at the price of €199.
Of course, the fashion didn’t stop there, as Muireann added a pair of stiletto heels and a chunky silver earring.
MUIR’S STRUGGLE
For her hair, Muireann’s new cropped bob is the main character in all of her most recent TV looks.
The chat show host has been ditching her usual beach waves for a sleek side parting and pin-straight look – and we are so here for it.
Showing off her options, Muireann wrote: “I did not have time to be putting all of these on. Eejit.”
