KATIE TAYLOR paid a touching tribute to her mum Bridget on Mother’s Day.
The 38-year-old has had her mum by her side through her brightest and darkest times.

And she shared her appreciation in an emotional Instagram post on Sunday.
She shared a photo of the two in a warm, celebratory embrace after Taylor’s redemptive victory over Chantelle Cameron at the 3Arena in 2023.
And the Bray woman said: “My amazing mother. I’d be lost without her”.
In the comments, fans were left emotional at the touching message and the heartfelt pic used as backdrop.
Cathy commented: “Fantastic picture of two incredible women! ”
A second follower said: “Now THAT’s a great picture. @katie_t86” while a third added: “Great pic.. ”
A fourth said: “Two strong beautiful and brave ladies. ” and a fifth said: “Briget is some woman for one woman !!”
Katie Taylor‘s post came amid a busy training camp as she prepares for her hotly anticipated trilogy bout against Amanda Serrano.
The two square off for a third time on July 11 at Madison Square Garden, with the Irishwoman holding a 2-0 advantage over the Puerto Rican.
They first fought at MSG in April 2022, with Taylor having her hand raised and retaining her undisputed lightweight titles.
She went up to super lightweight for a pair of battles against Chantelle Cameron in Dublin – losing the first and winning the second to become a two-weight undisputed champion.
She stayed at the higher weight for her second bout against Serrano which she won at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas last November.
The 2012 Olympic gold medallist will be 39 by the time that they got at it as the headliner of an all-female card live on Netflix.
And while Taylor admitted she does not want to be in the fight game forward, she insisted she still has plenty left in the tank.
She told Sky Sports: “I obviously take it one fight at a time.
“I know I can’t do this forever and I don’t want to do this forever.
“I don’t want to be taking punches for the rest of my life but here I am, getting ready for another huge one.
“I do take it one fight at a time and I just feel really great right now and I knew straight after the last fight that I am ready to go again.
“I feel the fighter hasn’t died down. I have this desire in my heart to just bring women’s boxing up again and another huge fight on Netflix, another huge platform.
“I know I have what it takes to perform well. I know I have it all, really, and I feel like I am getting better and better with each performance and I can’t wait to keep going.”
