CHRISTINE McGuinness has opened up on her split from ex-husband Paddy – revealing she’s still paying off her costly £300,000 divorce.
The model, who shares three kids with the former Take Me Out host, appeared on podcast The Shizzio Show where she was grilled about her life in the spotlight.

While talking to the host, Christine spoke about their relationship but didn’t confirm what ‘broke the camel’s back’ and caused them to go their separate ways in June 2022.
While she acknowledged things happened that were “unforgivable”, Christine said: “I’ve never spoken about the reasons for our divorce, and I don’t know if I ever will.
“It was a difficult time. It wasn’t something that, you know, I just decided to do overnight, or that we chose to do.”
“We tried, and, yeah, there just, unfortunately, there was no repairing it, you know?” she added.
“I’ll always, always love him as the father of the children, and I still live at home with him, which says a lot.
“We separated three years ago, and we are completely divorced, and we live in separate parts of the house, but we share a family home.”
However, as Christine continued, she admitted that things at points got messy – not to mention expensive, with the model saying she is still paying off her £300,00 bill.
“There was times where it was fine and really civil, and we were agreeing on what we wanted and what we were going, then there was times where it felt like we were starting all the way back at the beginning,” she said.
“It’s the biggest bill I have ever paid in my life, and I will say that I paid for my own divorce, nobody else,” she added.
“I think people assume that if you’re going through a divorce with someone who earns a hell of a lot of money, your legal fees will be covered, or they will cover the costs or something, but it doesn’t work like that.”
“I think both of us now, if we could sit down and do it again, yeah, we’d do it completely differently, because we both spent a hell of a lot of money on divorce lawyers,” Christine acknowledged.
“Me personally, £300,000 pounds out of my own money that I didn’t even have,” she added.
“ I got someone to represent me that was equal to who was representing him.”
However, despite their break-up, Christine notes that both she and Paddy are remaining at their £2.5million home as it’s what’s best for their children – twins Leo and Penelope and daughter Felicity – who all have autism.
“For now, not forever, because they struggle with change,” she explained.
“They’ve never even had a sleepover with anybody else. So for our children to go from Mummy’s house to Daddy’s house, and with no set routine in place, because we both work all over the place, it wouldn’t be fair on them.
“So they know where their home is and their bedrooms and all of their things, and it doesn’t matter what day of the week they come home from school, they know where they’re going.”
