When the whole It Ends With Us lawsuit shenanigan started in December 2024, several celebrities were supporting Blake Lively over her claims against her co-star Justin Baldoni. But surprisingly, it took only a few months and some major changes in the lawsuit, for those supporters of Lively to change their colors.
Now that Justin Baldoni’s $400M lawsuit is scaring the life out of Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Swift, and maybe even Hugh Jackman—a few of Blake Lively’s well-wishers appeared, strategically removing their post of support for the actress. Well, we’re talking about her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-star America Ferrera, who no longer has her joint statement of support on her Instagram page.

Blake Lively’s friend abandoned her after Justin Baldoni’s $400M lawsuit
Blake Lively is currently facing the classic case of table turns, now that her lawsuit with Justin Baldoni is gradually intensifying.
Previously, in December 2024, when Blake Lively initially filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, accusing him of s*xual harassment and emotional distress on the set of It Ends With Us, friends, and family were supporting Lively for her bold move. Even The New York Times published alleged text messages from Baldoni, stating how he allegedly orchestrated a smear campaign against her.
That’s when her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-star America Ferrera, alongside the two other actresses from the film—Amber Tamblyn and Alexis Bledel—shared a joined statement of support for Blake Lively, via Instagram. But surprisingly, Norwegian journalist Kjersti Flaa recently highlighted on her YouTube channel, how Ferrera has shockingly removed that post from her grid.
[America Ferrera] has removed from her grid, the post she was tagged in, where she supported Blake Lively back in December… you can see how she hasn’t removed the post itself from Instagram, but she removed it from her grid…
What does this mean? Well, I think it means that America Ferrera is no longer supporting Blake Lively, why else would she remove it from her grid?

It seems that within 4 months since the lawsuit gained momentum, America Ferrera went from being a public supporter and a close friend of Blake Lively, to quietly hitting the “delete” button on her support posts. Perhaps, as Justin Baldoni recently fired back with a $400M lawsuit, dragging everyone associated with Lively and Ryan Reynolds into the court, Ferrera tried distancing herself.
Blake Lively seemingly lost two of her “dragons” in the high-profile lawsuit
While America Ferrera is seemingly suggesting that either she no longer supports Blake Lively or that she doesn’t want to be a part of the lawsuit, let’s not forget how Justin Baldoni’s $400M lawsuit quickly made Lively’s husband change colors. Yes, after Baldoni fired back with his pricy lawsuit, Ryan Reynolds filed a motion to dismiss himself from the legal battle (via CNN).
Well, not just the Deadpool star, it seems that Blake Lively’s entire fiery crew of so-called “dragons” previously hailed for standing by her side, are now trying to abandon her. Yes, we’re talking about pop star Taylor Swift, who was reportedly one of the unnamed dragons that Lively mentioned in her cringe text to Justin Baldoni while trying to persuade him to offer her the creative control of It Ends With Us.
So now, Taylor Swift and Ryan Reynolds are both trying to jump ships alongside America Ferrera to save their image in the industry. Despite technically being the trifecta, both Swift and Reynolds are now trying to reportedly distance themselves from the mess that Blake Lively has created. According to insiders via Page Six, Swift is allegedly “taking a break from their friendship right now”.

Well, let’s not forget Hugh Jackman, who recently got dragged into the lawsuit, as Justin Baldoni’s legal team believes he might have information about Ryan Reynolds’ alleged involvement in the dispute. Considering how he worked with Reynolds on Deadpool 3, which allegedly mocked Baldoni with the Nicepool character, Baldoni’s team wished to depose Jackman for the trial scheduled for March 2026.
