The show sees the pair travel across Europe helping house-hunters to find a place of their own on the continent, for a fraction of the price.

In this brand new series Maggie and Kevin travel to Spain, Portugal, Italy and France.

Maggie will be visiting properties with house-hunting hopefuls while Kevin will be looking at the cultural side of the localities featured to get an idea of what their lifestyle might be like abroad.

In tonight’s episode, Maggie helped Michelle find a bargain home in Spain with land to open a camper van site.

Meanwhile, Kevin helped her find out what it takes to run one.

Maggie travelled to Southern Spain with Michelle and showed her three houses she hoped would be her future dream home.

Maggie, armed with a €200,000 budget, was hoping for a small plot of land near her property so she could meet locals and create a few hours of work for herself.

The first house was up in the hills and a fifteen minute drive from Nerja.

The three-bedroom swiss-styled wooden chalet was on the market for just €173,000.

Maggie loved the jaw-dropping view from the property, but ultimately the property fell flat for her – due to its wood heavy features and dark interior.

Next Maggie brought them to a two-bedroom cottage that had plenty of out houses along with it’s main house.

The traditional Spanish-style pueblo home was on the market for €199,000 – and with over three acres of land included in that price, Maggie was optimistic.

And Maggie’s instincts were right, as Michelle’s eyes lit up when she heard the home had three and a half acres of land, but she wasn’t entirely convinced about the property, just yet.

HOUSE THAT?

The final house was a “quirky” Spanish home, more centrally located in Nerja, that had a lot of potential with a little investment.

Pulling up to the house, Michelle loved the whitewash and felt the home was well-maintained and in good condition to move into.

This two-bedroom, traditional Spanish-style home was on the market for €140,000.

Although, in the end, Michelle didn’t put in an offer on any of Maggie’s homes; she did feel as though she now knew what she wanted for certain.

And it was revealed after the show had wrapped filming, Michelle and her partner Albert, had purchased a property in Murcia.

RTE viewers were delighted to see the show back and raced to social media to express their delight.

Maria wrote: “Michelle, fair play, wish you both lots of luck.”

Chris gushed: “Maggie, we love you.”

Colette remarked: “Great to see you back.”

Another viewer added: “Just fabulous.”
