Instagram user Shannon Fong (@costco.so.obsessed) shared photos of the Fujiya Strawberry Sponge Cake spotted at their local store in San Francisco, which they called “a must buy.” In photos from the pre-sliced cake, you can see the squishy cake layered with whipped cream frosting and garnished with a strawberry topping.
“This Japanese 🇯🇵 strawberry sponge cake is amazing and only $18.69!,” pictures of the cake were captioned on Instagram. “It’s not too sweet and the whipped cream frosting and soft sponge cake layers are perfect! Elevate it adding some fresh strawberries 🍓 👏 if you see this it’s a must buy!”
