Communications Manager for the Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia campaign, Dennis Miracles Aboagye has finally opened up about the party’s humiliating defeat in the 2024 elections.
According to him, the defeat caused severe pain to him so much that he fell sick.
“The defeat in the election was very shocking so I had to take some time off. For me, I even fell ill,” he said on Accra-based Asempa FM.
He indicated that while dealing with the shock, he had to deal with other stakeholders who could not take the pain and that further caused him more pain.
“I received calls from people who were hopeful the NPP was going to win and they were heart broken. That really affected me.
These are senior people who have seen the governance of the country over the years and know that the NPP is the political party which can better the lot of Ghanaians and that is what affected me,” he explained.
He further stated that a number of Ghanaians are living in fear because they know John Dramani Mahama and believe that he has nothing to offer the country.
