Littler, 18, reached the final of the PDC World Championship at the first attempt.

He was only halted from achieving the impossible by Luke Humphries in the final.

The Nuke went on to enjoy a successful 2024 as he won titles such as the Premier League Darts and the Grand Slam of Darts.

The Warrington thrower then followed up this success by going one better at the most recent World Championship.

He beat Michael van Gerwen in a dominant final at Ally Pally back in January.

Fans have been amazed by his talents at the oche as he often exhibits powerful throwing.

Littler is no stranger to pulling off eye-watering averages in matches and hitting regular 180s.

His supporters have backed him to go up to another level as he gains more experience.

A third commented: “Best is yet to come.”

A fourth said: “141 average incoming in the Premier League an 125 average in Grand Slam type tournament incoming an a 120 average in a world final incoming.”

Another added: “It really depends on whether he stays committed.”

Littler recently added another trophy to his ever-growing cabinet.

He beat James Wade in the final of the UK Open in Minehead, winning the match 11-2.

After the victory, Littler admitted that he was spurred on against Wade by Manchester United’s defeat to Fulham in the FA Cup.

He said: “I am happy. Obviously I’m in the final in my third attempt at the UK Open.

“But during the second break I heard about how Manchester United lost so it spurred me on a bit.

“I won the next five and then I only needed one leg and got the job done.

“Before I walked on it went to penalties. The first break I didn’t win anything of it and then the second break… And the third session was unbelievable.

“Having that five-leg gap and then you have to go off stage and you go on needing to win that one leg and I managed to get it.”
