Dr. Joseph Yammin, the National Organizer for the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), has made explosive allegations against Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, the founder of Power Chapel Worldwide.
He accuses him of being deeply involved in an election rigging scheme on behalf of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
“Some pastors have done bad things against us. Reverend Kusi Boateng, the man with two passports, was involved when the NPP tried to rig the election; was that a good thing?
The ballot papers we seized, some came from his room and were distributed to other places,” Yammin alleged during an interview on Abusua965FM.
Beyond the election interference claims, he also raised concerns over Rev. Kusi Boateng’s alleged possession of multiple passports, including a diplomatic one.
“I don’t understand why he currently holds a diplomatic passport. They were asked to produce it, and it has been taken quietly.
“No one has asked how he obtained a diplomatic passport when he already has an ordinary passport with a different name. Having two passports is a criminal offense, and I expect him to be questioned about it. It’s suspicious that one fingerprint can be linked to two different names,” Yammin stated.
According to him, Rev. Kusi Boateng was not just an accomplice in the electoral fraud but also used his religious influence to support political schemes.
“As a pastor, he played a role in hatching plans to rig the election… He is among those who did harm to the state by praying for such schemes,” he added.
