Blake Lively’s lawsuit against Justin Baldoni seems to be anybody’s game now, especially given the latest events that might have painted Blake Lively in a bad light. her request for the call records and other cellular data from Baldoni’s phone was blocked, as the actress’ team sought information all the way back from 2022.

Candace Owens, the political commentator, revealed what might be part of Lively’s playbook when it comes to the lawsuit, saying that Lively and her team might be deliberately making impossible requests from the court so as to spin the public narrative against the It Ends With Us star and director.
Blake Lively’s lawyers might be stupid, Candace Owen says

Candace Owens talked about the subpoena that was issued for Justin Baldoni’s call records, and the narrative that might have been the result of that request being blocked. Owens believes that Lively and her team want to collect dirt on the director/actor, not just for the case at hand, but beyond what is required. Owens read the judge’s queries about the subpoena, pointing out that Lively’s lawyers must be incredibly stupid. She said (in her YouTube video) :
That is the kindest way that a judge can say to you that your lawyers are stupid. That’s like very, he’s like being very nice here. He’s like your lawyers are really stupid because you guys started this lawsuit and you said that his campaign began in August 2024 and now you are suddenly asking me to see text messages dating back 2022.
The accusations that Lively has made against Baldoni, only stretch back to 2024, which essentially makes a vast cell record going as far back as 2022 virtually and legally impossible to obtain so far. Lively’s request has also been flagged as being nonspecific, with the judge stating that sensitive information could be revealed that has nothing to do with the case, like conversations with doctors and therapists.
Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s case seems to be getting convoluted with each passing day

Blake Lively‘s film It Ends With Us failed to enter the cultural zeitgeist at the time of its release, which seems to be a little ironic, given that the resulting lawsuit from the production of the film seems to be the only thing anyone can talk about. While on one hand, Lively’s accusations are serious, Baldoni’s case seems to be toughening up as evidence against the director seems to be becoming increasingly tough to obtain for a myriad of reasons.
Public opinion about the case is split as well, as one faction looks at the case as Hollywood royalty Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds punching down on a smaller director, while others are willing to give Lively and her team their support, given the amount of goodwill that they have managed to wrack up over the years in the industry.
