Apple TV Plus Drops Number One on the Call Sheet Trailer

Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for Number One on the Call Sheet, a powerful two-part documentary series celebrating the groundbreaking achievements of Black actors in Hollywood. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Reginald Hudlin, the documentary takes an intimate look at some of Hollywood’s most extraordinary Black leading men and women, offering unprecedented access and candid interviews.

 

The first part, Number One on the Call Sheet: Black Leading Men in Hollywood, explores the journeys of trailblazing men in the industry, featuring conversations with Hollywood legends such as Jamie Foxx, Kevin Hart, Dwayne Johnson, Will Smith, Idris Elba, Michael B. Jordan, and more. These icons open up about their breakthrough moments, share personal stories of triumph and struggle, and highlight the importance of representation in the film industry. Additionally, the second part, Number One on the Call Sheet: Black Leading Women in Hollywood, directed by Shola Lynch, honors the incredible achievements of Black actresses, with contributions from powerful voices like Angela Bassett, Viola Davis, Whoopi Goldberg, and Halle Berry.
