Kristin Davis’ latest era is one we absolutely love. She’s an actress, she’s a podcaster, and she is spilling the tea on her own dating life. The And Just Like That… star shared some surprising info on the A-lister she used to date — and we forgot this pairing even happened.
On the Feb. 27 episode of Literally with Rob Lowe, Davis reminded her fans that she dated Alec Baldwin in the early aughts. At the time, the 60-year-old actress was living in New York City while filming Sex and the City, so it makes sense that she would run in the same circles as Baldwin. He was at the height of his career and Davis described him as “so rich” which meant that he came with nice real estate.
“Like one of the best things about Alec Baldwin when I dated him is that he had the most incredible house in Amagansett,” she admitted while dishing that she clung to the relationship longer because of his property.
“Like, I remember I was at work, and I was like, ‘Sarah Jessica [Parker], I just don’t know if it’s going to work out with Alec and I, but I just really love that house,’” Davis continued. “Which is literally one of the only times I have felt that way, do you know? When I’m like, ‘I don’t want to break up with this person because I like his house.’ It’s so embarrassing to say that out loud but it’s true.” Seriously, Davis’ tea was piping hot!
The home Davis talked about in Lowe’s podcast just happens to be the same estate that Baldwin had been trying to sell amid his Rust legal case. Even though the charges were dropped, the 66-year-old actor is facing massive legal fees and ongoing civil suits after the accidental shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. In January 2024, Baldwin appeared in a YouTube video gushing about the $18,995,000 million home.
“I’ve had a home out here on the east end of Long Island since 1981,” Baldwin said. “When I was younger, we’d come out here and we’d sleep all morning and lay on the beach all day. When you’re young, this place is the best.” He bought the 10-acre estate in 1995, and we understand why Davis loved it so much — the amenities are fit for a movie star!
While the home is currently off the market, it boasts 10,000 square feet of living space with seven bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, and two half-baths. There’s a movie theater, wine-tasting room, and a large pool and spa for lounging on a hot summer day. We can picture Davis sitting by the pool, sipping an icy glass of water with a big beach hat.
Even though Baldwin and Davis are no longer an item, it’s evident that they agree that his Amagansett place is spectacular. “I fell in love with this place the moment I came here,” Baldwin shared in the clip “You just can’t get this out here anymore. I love coming here. I’m always happiest when I come here.”
