THE M3 motorway has closed after a “police incident” which saw a lorry pulled over.
Motorists are trapped in bumper-to-bumper traffic as two lanes closed on the southbound carriageway between Junction 2 for the M25 and Junction 3 for Bagshot.

Pictures of the incident appear to show police surrounding a lorry pulled over on the side of the road.
Dozens of people were seen exiting the back of the lorry – before waiting at the side of the road wrapped in emergency blankets.
Stationary traffic is shown in the area, according to National Highways’ traffic map.
Drivers have been warned to allow more time for their journeys.
