This backpack will attach an ammo belt to certain weapons in the game, which will not only increase ammo capacity but also allow players to live their Rambo fantasies. Since machine guns are highly effective against most enemies in the game, Arrowhead Game Studios must add this backpack to the game.
Helldivers 2 players suggested a backpack concept that will eliminate long reload times
A Helldivers 2 player on the r/helldivers2 subreddit has shared a backpack concept called Munitions Extender Backpack. As the name suggests, this backpack Stratagem will extend ammo capacities, allowing players to shoot for longer periods of time.
The ammo belt of this backpack Stratagem could be compatible with Stratagems like the MG-43 Machine Gun, M-105 Stalwart, and MG-206 Machine Gun. This would make the aforementioned weapons a mini version of the HMG Emplacement Stratagem, as players would not have to reload in between. This backpack’s limitation? A 12-second timer to set up the ammo belt.
The MG-43 Machine Gun is quite popular among players as it is highly effective against most Terminid and Illuminate enemies. Its drawback is only its capacity, so this backpack would eliminate that problem. In the past, players have also suggested that Arrowhead Game Studios must give players a minigun, so the studio now has the opportunity to introduce this backpack along with the weapon.
More stronger enemies will soon be added to Helldivers 2
Recently, a new Terminid strain called the Predator Strain was added to Helldivers 2. The Galactic War is slowly getting much more intense as the Illuminate faction is also planning its next invasion. Game director Mikael Eriksson has confirmed that the Illuminate enemies in the game are just a small section of the whole faction, so players should expect to see some bigger, stronger enemies soon.

The Omens of Tyranny update played a key role in boosting the game’s active player count, but the studio must continue adding fresh content to the game to keep the players hooked.
