JUDITH Ralston will grapple with wrestler Grado rather than weather fronts when the pair team-up for the first time for a BBC series.
The popular presenter has joined the telly scrapper, who played gruff Alan in the Beeb sitcom Two Doors Down, for the latest instalment of Scotland’s Greatest Escape.
And Grado – real name Graeme Stevely – insists he was “blown away” by having the weather legend along for the ride.
Grado, 36, said: “Having Judith aff the weather along for the ride has made this series even more special.
“We’ve had such a laugh together, and I think people will really enjoy watching us visit these incredible escapes.
“Even after three series, I’m still blown away by the hidden gems Scotland has to offer—I guarantee there’s something for everyone.”
Judith, 56, adds: “I’m absolutely delighted to be joining Grado on this adventure to find Scotland’s Greatest Escape.
“Getting to travel the country and experience so many breathtaking locations is a real dream come true. Scotland’s beauty never fails to amaze me.
“Come rain or shine, this series is set to be a real ray of sunshine—and I can’t wait for viewers to join us on the journey.”
In the third series of the popular BBC Scotland show, which launches on March 10, the pair experience wacky retreats from houseboats, castle estates and even treehouses and unique eco-retreats.
Along the way, they also take part in thrilling activities including bungee jumping at Killiecrankie and soaring above the Black Isle on a scenic flight.
