AN Irish jetsetter has found a huge new perk on Aer Lingus flights that separate the airline from its rivals.
TikTok user @theburnbookx shared a short video to the platform for her followers.

In the caption of the post, she wrote: “Sorry Ryanair I’m switching”.
In the video she can be seen on board a flight, looking surprised.
In a caption inserted into the post, she wrote: “Aer Lingus has phone chargers?”
The passenger then turns the camera around, showing two USB ports built into the seat in front of her.
Viewers were quick to take to the comments section to shed some light on the finding.
One person wrote: “Only on select flights.”
Another commenter echoed this, noting: “On an A320neo flights (usually London, Lanzarote, Rome, Paris).”
On the Aer Lingus website, airline bosses wrote: “You can charge your device using your in-seat power point.
“Each seat has a universal plug socket along with a USB-A charge point.”
According to Aer Lingus chiefs, not only do they provide ports on some flights, but also WiFi, allowing passengers to work from the sky.
Airline bosses wrote on the website: “However you plan to spend your time, our superior quality Wi-Fi will keep you connected with your office, loved ones and the world.
“So, catch up, share the thrill, or browse and play your way across the skies.”
The Wi-Fi and mobile network is available when flying on:
- All A330 aircraft (Wi-Fi, texts and data)
- All A321neoLR and A321XLR aircraft (Wi-Fi only)
Aer Lingus staff added: “Our unlimited Wi-Fi is free for all business class customers on the vast majority of our aircraft.
“With upload speeds of 5mbps and downloads speeds of 1mbps you can enjoy a similar experience as connecting from a home office.
“This secure connection will be available around 20 minutes into your flight, once we have safely taken off.
“And you can stay connected until around 20 minutes before you land.”
