She had rebuilt her life after her spine was shattered when a heavy couch landed on her after being launched off a roof.

Edita, from Aberdeen, was pictured wearing a boot on her injured leg and revealing her latest stomach scars as she vowed to “bounce back” again.

Updating pals about her latest recovery battle, she said: “Here we go again. A second huge accident in just a few years.

“I did it once and I can do it again. Let’s pray it’s my last challenge in life.”

Shocking photos showed her new boyfriend’s wrecked white Audi following the collision.

Edita revealed she had battled pneumonia in hospital while being treated for a broken foot and sternum.

She revealed: “I’m tired but I’m getting better. I bounce back from every situation.”

And she reassured friends online: “I’m always going to be good, remember that.”

After her previous fight for survival, Edita threw herself into gruelling fitness sessions — but those are now on hold.

She admitted: “No gym for a year. But it’s just a problem I’ll overcome. I need to stand on my feet again.”

In December 2019, Edita was speaking on the phone outside her work in the city when a settee plunged to the ground and trapped her for 40 minutes.

We told how her injuries included a shattered thigh, ankle and collarbone and broken ribs.

Edita spent nine weeks recovering in hospital and had to wear a neck brace.

Medics inserted steel plates and screws into her back, knee and hip before she learned to walk again.

Edita revealed at the time she felt “lucky to be alive” and was plagued by flashbacks.

She said: “I’m broken in pieces.

“At first they thought I was going to be paralysed because I was so badly hurt.

“My life has still been ruined and all for something so stupid.”

It emerged that Barrie Law and Lee Morrison could not lug the leather couch down stairs from a flat — so instead threw it off the edge without checking the area was clear.

They admitted reckless conduct and causing permanent disfigurement and impairment.

Edita told how she did not want to see the pair locked up despite her ordeal.

They dodged jail at the city’s sheriff court but were ordered to pay her £15,000 in compensation.
