The recent spoilers of One Piece chapter 1141 have finally brought the much-awaited moment for which fans have been hoping for a long time in the Elbaph arc. The spoilers have revealed that Loki has been released, and he is now going to enter the central storyline of the Elbaph arc, which has been quite intriguing since the beginning.

Ever since the Elbaph arc started, Loki’s character development has been kept limited because of his imprisonment in the Underworld. He has not been able to do much, despite being one of the most important characters in the entire One Piece storyline. But now, he might prove himself to be useful, and his freedom has already hinted at a battle that is currently brewing.
This battle will most likely take place between Red-Haired Shanks, who captured Loki with his unprecedented strength, and Roronoa Zoro, who freed him from his capture. If the battle between the two takes place, it could result in an all-out war in Elbaph, which won’t end well for anyone in One Piece.
Loki is finally free and ready to wreak havoc
The accursed prince of Elbaph was first mentioned in One Piece chapter 858, and ever since then, he has been one of the most awaited characters in the series. He was first revealed in One Piece chapter 1130, and since then he has been viewed as the main villain of the Elbaph arc.
However, his image got a little bit of redemption when Shamrock, the Supreme Commander of God’s Knights, entered the storyline and portrayed himself as the enemy of Elbaph. Since then, One Piece fans have been confused about Loki’s role in the series, and for the last few chapters, his contribution to the narrative has also been kept limited.

But this all changed with the spoilers of One Piece chapter 1141 which revealed that Zoro and Luffy went to the Underworld and after a discussion decided to free Loki. Now that he is free, he can play the role that he is destined for. Not only that, there is a big possibility that he might face the newly introduced members of the God’s Knights and also Shamrock and Gunko as well. It would certainly add to the hype of the Elbaph arc in One Piece.
Loki’s freedom could result in Shanks vs Zoro
Although Loki’s freedom was significant for the One Piece storyline, it might not be well-received by other characters. From Elbaph’s giants to God’s Knights, almost everyone will be tense now that the accursed prince is ready for action. However, the most furious would be Shanks, who captured Loki and imprisoned him in the Underworld of Elbaph.

According to the spoilers, Zoro was the one who freed Loki, and this won’t sit well with Shanks’ crew. This could possibly result in a battle between Shanks and Zoro, which might not be good for Luffy and for the One Piece storyline.

Also, the much-awaited reunion between Shanks and Luffy might not be as happy and satisfying as fans have been hoping for.
The Elbaph storyline in One Piece is getting more and more interesting, and almost every aspect of the story points towards a war that is going to take place sooner or later. Hopefully, it won’t be between the Straw Hat Pirates and the Red-Haired Pirates, as the real enemy (the God’s Knights) is planning something else for Elbaph.
