Influencer revealed what happened at Drake’s birthday party
On Instagram, influencer T$hay revealed what it’s like to go to a Drake party. She attended the event back in October 2023 when the Canadian star held his 37th birthday. The theme of the night was Rich Baby Daddy, which was obviously inspired by the rapper’s song.
She said most people claim that “if your girl went to Drake’s birthday party last night, she’s not your girl” but they got it all messed up—she clarified that he throws lavish parties for the women, but what the influencer saw upon entering the premises caught her off-guard. “I walked into this party and was handled a raffle ticket, and I didn’t stay late enough to find out who won, but the prize was for a G-Wagon,” she revealed (via Complex Canada).
That is not the only shocking item that was up for grabs at Drake’s party. There was also a claw machine giving out expensive Chanel bags. Women can try their luck at snagging a bag or two, and it’s for free. There was another girl who even won an iPad.
Attending these kinds of parties is not for everyone, though. Drake’s entourage would have the models sign two NDAs before they could get in, and phones are usually not allowed inside. The girl who snuck in a video at the party revealed she did not win a Chanel bag, though she’s not giving up hope.
Strict rules for Drake’s parties revealed
The gatherings at Drake’s place are clearly not as crazy as Diddy’s freak-off parties, but an insider revealed via News.com.au that the attendees were carefully handpicked based on their appearances. Despite being an invite-only event, getting an invitation did not mean guaranteed entry. In fact, there is still a queue, and the selection happens in real time.
Another report from Fresh & Fit podcaster Myron Gaines (via Hot New Hip Hop) claimed that Drake invites “50 to 100 girls” to his parties only to ignore them. He said the rapper never talks to these women and “they’re all there for him, just clamoring for him.”
There is indeed a colossal distinction between Drake and Diddy’s parties, but one thing’s for sure—they both have different ways of taking it to the next crazy level.
