Bobby Flay’s heart isn’t only reserved for the kitchen.
The longtime Food Network star has been married three times. His first marriage was to chef Debra Ponzek. After splitting from Ponzek, Flay wed his second wife, Kate Connelly.
After separating from Connelly in 1998, Flay didn’t tie the knot again until 2005 with Stephanie March. Flay and March were married for a decade before they divorced in 2015. Since Flay’s last divorce, getting married for a fourth time hasn’t been on his mind.
“For me, it hasn’t been the best situation,” he said of marriage during an October 2024 appearance on Kristin Cavallari’s “Let’s Be Honest” podcast. “That said, I don’t feel like I need to do it again. I have an amazing daughter who is 28 years old. I’m not having any more kids as far as I know.”
While the formality of marriage doesn’t seem necessary for Flay, he confessed that he was “interested in a life partner.”
Five months later, Us Weekly confirmed that Flay was dating Top Chef winner and his Food Network costar Brooke Williamson.

Debra Ponzek
Flay and Ponzek met in June 1990. After dating for nearly a year, the pair exchanged “I dos” in May 1991.
In 1992, Flay and Ponzek were both nominated for the James Beard Foundation Award for Rising Star Chef. Flay did not want to compete against his wife, so he attempted to withdraw from the award but the organization did not permit the request. Ponzek ended up winning the prize. Flay would go on to win the award the following year and Ponzek presented him with the accolade.
The pair divorced in 1993.
Kate Connelly
Two years after his divorce from Ponzek, Flay married TV host Connelly. The twosome welcomed daughter Sophie in 1996. Flay and Connelly separated in 1998.
Stephanie March
After his second divorce, Flay moved on with March. The chef and the actress tied the knot in February 2005 after dating for four years. In 2015, the pair split amid claims that Flay was unfaithful, but he denied the allegations.
March and Flay finalized their divorce in July 2015.
“We have come to an amicable divorce settlement,” the pair said in a statement to Us at the time. “We look forward to putting this difficult time behind us and we ask that you respect our privacy as we move forward.”
Heléne Yorke
Flay sparked a romance with Yorke in 2016. While they were together, the actress ran a foodie Instagram page inspired by her cooking adventures with the chef. The pair called it quits in 2019.
Christina Perez
In November 2021, Flay began dating Pérez after being introduced through mutual friends. The TV personality and the writer broke up in June 2024.
Brooke Williamson
Us confirmed in March 2025 that Flay and Top Chef season 14 winner Williamson were an item. Williamson — who shares a son with ex-husband Nick Roberts — and Flay started off as friends before their connection turned romantic.
They work together on his Food Network show Bobby’s Triple Threat.
