However, his freestyle rapping sessions with other wrestlers during the tour bus ride saved him from getting fired. John Cena’s words eventually caught the attention of Stephanie McMahon, who asked him if he would like to do it on television.
Cena’s time in the WWE as a rapper wasn’t just a character he played in front of the fans. Cena, along with his cousin, released a real rap album called ‘You Can’t See Me’ in 2005, and it reached the 15th spot on Billboard 200. The rapper Cena’s stint isn’t all, the former WWE Champion was also a limo driver once before his time in the WWE.
During a Bloomberg interview, Cena revealed that he considered doing the gig for a short while to make ends meet while he was trying to make ends meet.
