The upcoming episode of SmackDown in London will officially schedule Reigns’ potential WrestleMania moment. Amidst the build-up to this intense contest, the tribal chief’s future is uncertain and thrilling.
Will Paul Heyman bid adieu to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41?
Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman have massive respect for each other. The latter joined forces with the tribal chief in 2020. Heyman’s association proved to be a blessing in disguise for Roman Reigns as he won the Universal Champion title a few days after.
Since then, the two have been virtually inseparable. Heyman has followed Reigns along the entire length of the Bloodline saga and reinstated Roman Reigns as one of the most dominant superstars in WWE history. However, like most other associations in WWE, the Tribal Chief and his best man are bound to part ways at some point.
But has that time finally arrived? Will the triple threat encounter between Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns be the last time Paul Heyman follows Reigns and supports him on the sidelines? Many in the WWE universe think so.
Paul Heyman has so far appeared to be well beside Reigns in the build-up to the triple threat encounter at WrestleMania 41. Heyman shared an interesting post on his X account before the contract signing of the triple threat match in London.
However, one such triple threat match that Heyman joined Roman Reigns in, marked the end of his 8-year association with Brock Lesnar. Heyman was part of the think-tank for Beat Incarnate ever since he was trying to establish himself as the next big thing in the company.
Heyman was part of some of the most consequential events of Lesnar’s professional career, including the end of The Undertaker‘s streak. Roman Reigns is now no less than Lesnar in ability and stature in the WWE, and the conclusion of the epic triple threat encounter might mean that Heyman may now look for someone else in the WWE.
Future of Roman Reigns after WrestleMania 41
WWE runs on unpredictable storylines and circumstances. Who would’ve thought John Cena would turn heel and sell his soul to The Rock? Similarly, Roman Reigns’ future in the company is hard to predict.
The former Universal Champion had always set his eyes set on the elite WWE title. Therefore, it’s hard to imagine a Roman Reigns future storyline without the title contention. This draws him directly against another emerging WWE icon- Cody Rhodes.
It is safe to say that a future brawl between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes is dependent upon the outcome of the title clash between the American Nightmare and John Cena at the upcoming mega-event. A win for Cena may turn Rhodes and Reigns into potential allies in their bid to de-throne John Cena.
However, the storyline could turn completely different if the outcome of the high-stake clash turns in Rhodes’ favour. Reigns shall then move towards working his way to challenge Rhodes once again for the title. Reigns lost the prized possession during the climax of the previous WrestleMania.
