CM Punk always fans the flames of conversation, over wrestling, life, or his love life. Punk has made no bones about being in love with his wife over the years, bragging often about how smart, hot, and accomplished she is.

His cheeky quip—“She didn’t marry me for my t*ts”—is hardly the first time he has found a way to poke fun at their connection. Their romance, which started while both were working in the wrestling business, has remained strong since they left WWE.
A romance that sparked within the WWE
WWE fans may remember CM Punk (real name: Phil Brooks) as the polarizing and talented superstar who made headlines, but his real-life wife, AJ Lee (real name: April Mendez), also gained her share of notoriety in the ring as well.
Punk was a fan-favorite rebel and straight edge, whereas AJ was still on her way to gain more prominence as a tough woman wrestler. They showcased their chemistry on screen with a romantic plot in 2012. The angle was scripted, but the attraction between the two was genuine.

It began as a WWE storyline but quickly became real as the two formed a close bond. A combination of common interests in wrestling, similar ideas, and professional respect for each other cemented the foundation of their bond.
In 2014, they had a small ceremony on 13th June— one day after Punk’s birthday — and sealed the deal to make it official. They had a small ceremony; though, over the years, the story of their love has remained in the public eye.
CM Punk: the ultimate husband goals
CM Punk has never been shy about speaking his mind, and neither is his wife, AJ Lee. He calls her his “hot wife” and isn’t shy about flexing their partnership to tabloids and social media. Punk has left no doubt that his allegiance belongs to AJ.

Recently, in a casual conversation with a WWE superstar while working out, he said :
I got a hot wife I’m not trying to impress anybody; she didn’t marry me for my t*ts.
However, this love story extends beyond public declarations. Even over the years since they left WWE behind, they are there for each other with all of their personal and professional milestones.

AJ, meanwhile, has enjoyed a successful writing career and released her best-selling memoir, Crazy Is My Superpower, whereas Punk landed in MMA and is now back in wrestling.
Through all of these changes, their relationship has withstood the test of time — this suggests that their bond extends beyond the ring. WWE helped facilitate their marriage, but their dedication to one another fueled the journey.
The couple is proof that love can blossom despite the madness of professional wrestling. And as long as Punk has a mic, he will always tell the world how much he loves his “hot wife.”
