The actor acknowledged that he and Lopez have very different temperaments when it comes to handling fame and privacy. “My temperament is to be a little bit more reserved and private than hers,” he said, referring to Lopez’s more open and public approach to sharing her personal life. “As happens in relationships, you don’t always have the same attitude towards these things.”
Despite the differences in how they handle fame, Affleck made it clear that he continues to love and support Lopez. “I love and support this person. I believe in them. They’re great. I want people to see that,” he said.

He also responded to the misconceptions that their differing approaches to celebrity were a cause of their divorce, reiterating that their separation was not about one specific issue.
