The upcoming Fire Country spinoff series Sheriff Country has had a major release window update. The germination for the show came in Fire Country season 2, episode 6 “Alert the Sheriff,” which saw Morena Baccarin in the role of Sheriff Mickey Fox, in what served as a backdoor pilot for the new show.Sheriff Country had a straight-to-series order in May 2024, and went into development with CBS Studios joining the production. The show has started casting, and now there has been an update regarding when the show will hit screens.
