Pierce Brosnan has revealed that he would have said “yes” to playing one iconic Harry Potter character in the fantasy franchise if he’d been offered it. The cast of the Harry Potter movies have become famously associated with their roles, such as Daniel Radcliffe’s portrayal as the titular character. However, with a TV remake of J.K. Rowling’s popular fantasy series now in development, major characters from the franchise are being recast. These new cast members taking on old roles include Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape and John Lithgow as Professor Albus Dumbledore.
