Alma Günther is a young Norwegian actress who has recently made a name for herself thanks to the Norwegian disaster miniseries La Palma. Premiering in December 2024 on Netflix, La Palma may not have a good Rotten Tomatoes score, but it has still been trending high on the Netflix charts since it first landed on the service. The series takes some elements from true events, but it is, for the most part, not based on a true story. Over four episodes, we follow the plight of a vacationing Norwegian family on the volcanic island of La Palma.
