Another month is upon us, and with it comes new kdramas! It may be nicer outside now, but we still to cozy up inside from time to time to enjoy our dramas. Let’s see what we have to look forward to in this May 2025 edition of “Korean Dramas You Need to Be Watching.”
This monthly series is meant to keep you updated on what’s happening in that amazing world of Korean dramas so that you don’t miss out on anything! Here are the kdramas you should keep an eye out for in May 2025:

1. Good Boy
Good Boy is about a group of gold medalist athletes dealing with injuries, financial problems, and other issues who come together to form a group of special police officers called the Olympic Avengers to fight crime. Starring Park Bo Gum and Kim So Hyun
Good Boy is scheduled to premiere May 31 on JTBC.

2. Oh My Ghost Clients
Oh My Ghost Clients follows a variety of experiences by a labor attorney (Jung Kyung Ho) who solves issues for ghosts.
Oh My Ghost Clients is scheduled to premiere May 30 on MBC.
3. Dear Hongrang
Dear Hongrang is a historical mystery romance about a son (Lee Jae Wook) who mysteriously disappeared as a child and returns as an adult with no memory and his half-sister (Jo Bo Ah) born through a surrogate who has awaited his return through difficult circumstances.
Hong Rang is scheduled to premiere May 16 on Netflix.
4. Spring of Youth
Spring of Youth is about a top member (Ha Yoo Joon) of a famous Kpop band who is kicked out of the group. He then enrolls in college, falls for a woman (Park Ji Hu), and joins a campus band.
Spring of Youth is scheduled to premiere May 6 on SBS.
5. Tastefully Yours
Tastefully Yours follows the romance between a food corporation heir (Kang Ha Neul) who runs a top restaurant and a chef (Go Min Si) who runs a little one table restaurant.
Tastefully Yours is scheduled to premiere May 12 on ENA.
6. Our Unwritten Seoul
Our Unwritten Seoul is about twin sisters (Park Bo Young) with opposite personalities with one who is a perfectionist and the other is a free spirit. The two end up trading lives and grow along the way.
Our Unwritten Seoul is scheduled to premiere May 24 on tvN.
7. Second Shot at Love
Second Shot at Love is about a mechanic (Choi Soo Young) turned public servant who becomes known as an alcoholic, so she decides to stop drinking and a doctor (Gong Myung) who dislikes alcohol that transfers to a hospital in a rural town.
Second Shot at Love is scheduled to premiere May 12 on tvN.

8. Pump Up the Healthy Love
Pump Up the Healthy Love follows the relationship between a fitness-obsessed man (Lee Jun Young) who runs a 24/7 fitness center and an assistant manager at a travel agency (Jung Eun Ji) who loves food and romance.
Pump Up the Healthy Love airs Wednesday and Thursday on KBS.
9. The Haunted Palace
The Haunted Palace is a fantasy historical about a spirit with a grudge against the king, a shaman (Bona) who goes against it, and a royal inspector (Yook Sung Jae) who gets possessed by an evil spirit.
The Haunted Palace airs Friday and Saturday on SBS.
10. Resident Playbook
Resident Playbook will follow the lives and careers of hospital workers including a couple of first year Obstetrics and Gynecology residents (Go Youn Jung and Shin Si Ah)
Resident Playbook airs Saturday and Sunday on tvN.

Divorce Insurance is about an elite insurance agent (Lee Dong Wook) that works on plans related to divorce who has been divorced multiple times.

Crushology 101
Crushology 101 follows the romance of a college student (Roh Jeong Eui) who had a bad first experience with love which left her with low self-esteem, but then she meets multiple men (Lee Chae Min and Cho Jun Young) with different charms.
Crushology 101 airs Friday and Saturday on MBC.
Way Back Love
Way Back Love is fantasy romance about a socially isolated woman (Kim Min Ha) who doesn’t have the will to live anymore. With one week left to live, she meets her teenage first love six years after his death, and he is now a grim reaper (Gong Myung). The two find the meaning of life and love together.
Way Back Love airs Thursday on TVING.
